Why This Position Exists
This position exists to lead finance-side ERP improvement work for client engagements, translating management reporting and control requirements into process design, system configuration requirements and measurable operational improvement.
What You Will Be Responsible For
- Run finance diagnostics covering close, reporting, controls, data quality and ERP utilisation.
- Document current-state finance processes and design practical target-state alternatives.
- Define finance requirements for ERP configuration, integration and reporting.
- Lead procure-to-pay, order-to-cash and month-end close improvement workstreams.
- Design management dashboards connecting financial and operational performance.
- Plan and coordinate user acceptance testing, data validation and cutover readiness.
- Prepare recommendations and progress reporting for client management and steering groups.
- Work alongside technical specialists without assuming responsibility for system development.
What You Will Need
- A recognised accounting or finance qualification, or an equivalent degree with strong finance experience.
- At least eight years of experience, including finance process improvement or ERP-related delivery.
- Practical experience of at least one established ERP environment in a finance capacity.
- Demonstrated ability to document processes, define requirements and manage a workstream to deadline.
- Confident communication with senior client stakeholders.
